2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or engaging any Service, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Malaysian law. If you are acting on behalf of a family unit or household, you represent that you have authority to do so.
If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the website or engage any Service.
3. Service Description
Orrin Bridge offers three administrative and clerical services for families in Malaysia. A full description of each service, including its limits, is available on the Solutions page of this website and in the Written Scope issued before each engagement.
Services are available to clients in Malaysia. Sessions are conducted at 73 Jalan Damansara, 50490 Kuala Lumpur, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The coordination retainer may include off-site meetings by arrangement.
None of the Services constitute legal, financial, welfare, medical, or other regulated professional advice. Every question that falls within a regulated profession is noted in writing and referred to the appropriate professional. That boundary is stated in the Written Scope and does not change mid-engagement.
4. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of all information and documents you bring to a session. We do not verify the authenticity of documents.
- All decisions about the content of any form field remain yours. We type what you dictate and check legibility and internal consistency; we do not determine what answer is correct.
- You are responsible for lodging any documents with the relevant agency or authority. We do not submit anything on your behalf.
- You must not use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful under Malaysian law.
- You must not misrepresent the nature of the Service to any third party, including any professional adviser.
5. Intellectual Property
All original content on this website โ including text, layout, and design elements โ is the property of Orrin Bridge. You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish it without written permission.
Printed directories, session records, and submission folders produced in the course of a Service are provided to you for your personal use in connection with your family's administrative matters. They may not be resold or distributed.
6. Payment Terms
All fees are quoted and payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Current fees are:
- Referral and Directory Session: RM 480 per session
- Document Preparation Companion: RM 1,050 for four sessions
- Family Coordination Retainer: RM 4,450 for twelve months
Payment is due before the first session of each engagement. We accept bank transfer and cash. Payment details are provided in the written booking confirmation.
Cancellation and refunds: If you cancel more than 48 hours before a booked session, your payment will be refunded in full. Cancellations within 48 hours of a session will be refunded at 50%. Sessions that are not attended without prior notice are not refunded. Fees for completed sessions are not refundable. For the coordination retainer, if you wish to end the arrangement before twelve months, fees already paid for completed months are not refundable; fees for remaining months will be refunded on a pro-rata basis subject to a written notice period of 30 days.
7. Service-Specific Terms
Referral and Directory Session: The printed directory produced reflects publicly available contact information at the date of the session. We do not accept responsibility for changes to contact details after the session date. The directory is for information purposes and does not constitute a recommendation of any professional or organisation.
Document Preparation Companion: The four sessions must be used within six months of the booking date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Sessions lapse if not used within this period without a refund.
Family Coordination Retainer: The retainer runs for twelve months from the date of the first monthly meeting. The administrator's role is administrative and clerical only. They do not hold a view on any matter between family members and do not provide regulated advice of any kind. Meeting summaries and archive records remain the property of the family and will be transferred in full at the end of the retainer period or upon termination.
8. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "as available" basis for the administrative and clerical purposes described in the Written Scope. We do not represent that:
- any form we assist with will be accepted by the relevant agency;
- the referral directory will result in a successful engagement with any professional;
- the coordination retainer will produce any specific outcome for the family's transition.
We are not a law firm, financial services provider, welfare agency, or medical practice. Nothing in any session, record, summary, or directory constitutes advice of any regulated kind.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of the Services is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement to which the claim relates.
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including loss of time, loss arising from reliance on a referral directory, or any decision made by a family member or professional in connection with the Services.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Orrin Bridge, its staff, and its administrators from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your misuse of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or any inaccuracy in the information or documents you provide.
11. Termination
Either party may end a service engagement by giving 30 days' written notice. We reserve the right to end an engagement immediately if a client acts in a way that is unlawful, abusive, or inconsistent with the Written Scope.
On termination, we will provide a final session record and transfer any documents held on your behalf. Sections 8, 9, 10, and 13 of these Terms survive termination.
12. Confidentiality
We will not disclose information shared in a session to any third party without your written instruction, except where required by Malaysian law. This obligation continues after the end of any engagement.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from the Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Before commencing any formal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by written correspondence. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may refer it to mediation at the Malaysian Mediation Centre before pursuing litigation.
14. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Written Scope for each engagement, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our obligations to a successor entity provided the standard of service is maintained.
- Notices: Notices under these Terms should be sent by email to [email protected] or by post to 73 Jalan Damansara, 50490 Kuala Lumpur.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Where a change significantly affects existing clients, we will notify you by email if we hold your address.
Continued use of the website or the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
