Orrin Bridge
Families working through paperwork together

SECTION 01 — WHAT WE DO

Finding the right people to talk to, and getting the paperwork in order

Orrin Bridge offers families in Kuala Lumpur three plainly described services: a referral session to work out who answers each question you are carrying, a document preparation companion for forms that take too long, and a year-round coordination arrangement for households managing extended transitions.

SECTION 02 — SERVICES

Three services, each with its limits stated on the door

Each service card below sets out what happens in the session on the left, and what the session does not include on the right. That division is the basis of the work.

01 — REFERRAL SESSION

Referral and Directory Session

A ninety-minute appointment whose entire purpose is to work out who a family should be speaking to, and then to hand over the contact details. Together we write down the questions you are carrying, sort them by the kind of body or profession that answers each — a public agency, a qualified professional, a community organisation — and produce a printed directory with published contact channels and a short note on what each one generally handles.

  • Written list of your questions, sorted by type
  • Printed directory with published contact channels
  • Short note on what each contact generally handles
RM 480 per session Book This Session

WHAT THIS SERVICE DOES NOT INCLUDE

  • No question is answered in the session
  • No legal, financial, or welfare advice is given
  • No recommendation on which professional to choose
  • No representation or contact made on your behalf
  • The service is signposting, and it says so on the door

If a question belongs to a qualified professional, we write it down and point you to one.

02 — DOCUMENT PREPARATION

Document Preparation Companion

A four-session clerical engagement for a household completing forms it finds tiring. An assistant reads each form aloud, types what you dictate, checks that entries are legible and internally consistent with the documents you supply, prepares clean copies, and assembles a submission folder you lodge yourself.

  • Four sessions of assisted form completion
  • Completed-forms log and copy set for your records
  • Submission folder assembled — you lodge it yourself
RM 1,050 per engagement Book This Service

WHAT THIS SERVICE DOES NOT INCLUDE

  • Every field is your decision — nothing is decided for you
  • Nothing is submitted, interpreted, or advised upon
  • Where a field requires professional determination, the session pauses
  • No legal or regulatory interpretation of form requirements
  • Lodgement is always done by you directly

Questions only you or a qualified professional can answer are written down, not filled in.

03 — COORDINATION RETAINER

Family Coordination Retainer

A twelve-month arrangement providing a named administrator to a family managing an extended transition across several households. Covers a monthly facilitated meeting with written summaries, upkeep of a shared calendar and responsibilities roster, a consolidated document archive with encrypted copies for each household, correspondence tracking, and a maintained directory of the professionals and public bodies the family is dealing with.

  • Monthly facilitated meetings with written summaries
  • Shared calendar, responsibilities roster, and document archive
  • Encrypted copies of records for each household
RM 4,450 per year Enquire About Retainer

WHAT THIS SERVICE DOES NOT INCLUDE

  • The administrator holds no view on any matter between family members
  • Every question of regulated expertise is passed, in writing, to the family's own qualified advisers
  • No legal, financial, medical, or welfare advice is given or implied
  • No representation at proceedings of any kind
  • The retainer coordinates and records — it does not decide

Regulated matters go in writing to your own professionals every time.

SECTION 03 — NEXT STEP

Not sure which service fits your situation?

Send us a short note about what your family is working through. We will read it and write back with a plain description of what we can and cannot do, with no obligation to proceed.

SECTION 04 — HOW WE WORK

What families say they find useful

These are not promises. They are observations from the families who have used the service, stated plainly.

Clarity about who to call

Families often arrive not knowing whether their question belongs to a lawyer, a government department, or a community body. The referral session sorts that out before any money is spent on professional fees.

Forms that get finished

Document work that sits unstarted on the table is the most common reason families tell us they came. Having someone read the form aloud and type what you say moves things forward at a manageable pace.

One place for the paperwork

When a transition involves several households and several advisers, knowing where each document is and who last dealt with each body is itself a significant piece of work. The retainer handles that tracking.

Limits stated in advance

Every session begins and ends inside a described boundary. Families who have dealt with services that drift beyond their brief tell us they appreciate knowing exactly what this one does and does not cover.

Discreet handling

What a family discusses in a session stays within the session. Document copies are held under a named administrator with encrypted storage. Nothing is shared beyond the household without written instruction.

Works alongside your advisers

Orrin Bridge does not replace a lawyer, financial planner, or welfare officer. It keeps the administrative side organised so your qualified advisers spend their time on the work only they can do.

SECTION 05 — QUESTIONS

Questions families ask before booking

Plain answers to the questions we hear most often.

What does the referral session actually produce at the end? +
A printed directory listing the bodies and professionals whose published contact details match the questions you brought. Each entry has the contact channel and a one-line note on what the body generally handles. There are no recommendations about which specific professional to engage.
Can the document preparation service help with court or government forms? +
The assistant can read any form aloud and type what you dictate. Where a field requires a determination that only you or a qualified professional can make — an assessment, a declaration, a legal statement — the session pauses and that field is noted in writing for you to resolve with the appropriate person. The service does not interpret what any field requires.
Does Orrin Bridge give legal or financial advice? +
No. That boundary is stated on the door of each service. When a question belongs to a lawyer, accountant, or regulated professional, we write it down and point your family to the appropriate kind of practitioner. We do not hold a view on those questions.
How long does the coordination retainer run? +
The retainer runs for twelve months. It includes monthly facilitated meetings, an ongoing document archive, a shared calendar and responsibilities roster, correspondence tracking, and a maintained directory of the professionals and bodies your family is engaging. It does not include any representation or regulated advice.
Is the information shared in sessions kept private? +
What your family shares in a session stays within the administrative record of that session. Document copies under the retainer are stored with encryption. Nothing is shared beyond your household without a written instruction from you.
Can I start with the referral session and then move to document preparation? +
Yes. The services are independent of each other. Many families book the referral session first to understand who handles which question, and then return for document preparation once they know which forms need completing. There is no requirement to take more than one service.
Where are the sessions held? +
Sessions take place at our office at 73 Jalan Damansara, 50490 Kuala Lumpur. For coordination retainer families managing an extended transition, we can discuss whether any meetings are suitable to hold elsewhere. Please ask when you book.
